Bill is an MEII, Certified Air Traffic Controller and military flight school honor graduate with over 2000 hours of flight experience. He has flown the UH-60 Blackhawk, Bell 206 Jetranger, King Air 90/200 and numerous single and multi-engine reciprocating aircraft in addition to flying the Cirrus SR-20 and SR-22.

Bill has helped over 150 pilots achieve single and multi-engine instrument, commercial, flight instructor and airline transport pilot ratings. He has held numerous flight and air traffic control positions with the Federal Aviation Administration, United States Air Force and the United States Army to include positions in flight test & evaluation, special operations, flight instruction and aviation intelligence.

He is also an experienced mountain pilot who has flown extensively throughout Colorado (including Leadville in the summer), Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and California.
