Private Pilot Requirements

Be 17 years of age or older
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Pass the required knowledge test
Recieve flight training and a logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor
Meet the aeronautical experience requirements
Pass a practical test

Please note: Although there is no age restriction on beginning your flight training, the following ages must have been reached prior to receiving certification.

Student Pilot (solo operations): 16
Private Pilot: 17
Commercial Pilot: 18
Airline Transport Pilot: 23

Please bring the following documents with you prior to or on the day of your first flight with Mach 1 Aviation:

Valid Driver License or other Government Issued Photo ID
Valid Passport or Birth Certificate
Any FAA Medical or Pilot Certificates you may already hold
